Privacy policy

What data the app collects, why, who receives it, and the rights you have.

Last updated: 21 August 2026.

This policy concerns the Docteur Bet mobile app. The site you are reading collects nothing — see the site privacy policy.

1. Data collected

1.1 What you give us

  • Email address — to create your account and sign in.
  • Name — shown in your profile.
  • Country — determines which operators and odds you are shown.
  • Betting history — the bets you record: stake, odds, result.
  • Starting bankroll — the amount you enter so its evolution can be tracked.

1.2 What is collected automatically

  • Subscriptions and purchases — subscriptions taken out through the App Store or Google Play, to unlock premium access. Payment is handled by Apple or Google: we neither see nor store your payment details.
  • Notification token — to send you the alerts you have subscribed to.
  • Usage data — launches, sessions and screens viewed, to understand how the app is used and improve it.
  • Device and advertising identifiers — including the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android). See section 3.
  • Install attribution — on Android, the campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_campaign, utm_content) carried by the install link. These are our own parameters, returned by Google Play; they contain no advertising identifier.

2. What it is used for

  • providing you with a personalised betting history and bankroll tracking;
  • maintaining your account and giving you access to your data;
  • delivering the notifications you have enabled;
  • managing your subscription and premium access;
  • measuring app usage in order to improve it;
  • measuring the effectiveness of our advertising — only if you have consented;
  • answering your requests through the support form.

3. Advertising, measurement and trackers

3.1 Who receives what

RecipientWhat it receivesWhy
Meta PlatformsAdvertising identifier, app events (installs, launches)Measuring the effectiveness of our campaigns
Google (Firebase Analytics)Usage data, device identifierAudience measurement, app improvement
Google (Firebase Messaging)Notification tokenDelivering notifications

We do not sell or rent your personal data. The sharing above is limited to what is necessary for the stated purposes, and is conditional on your consent.

3.2 Consent first

On first launch, the app asks whether you accept the use of your data for advertising measurement.

  • If you decline, Meta's advertising SDK is not activated, no advertising identifier is collected, and nothing is sent to Meta. The app works in exactly the same way.
  • If you accept, and only then, iOS additionally asks for the system tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline that, no advertising identifier is collected either.

You can withdraw your consent at any time from your device settings, and on iOS via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

3.3 Transfers outside the European Union

Meta and Google may process this data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep it for as long as your account exists. If your account stays inactive for three years, we delete it.

You can delete your account and all associated data:

  • from within the app, in your profile settings;
  • or by writing to us through the support form.

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Some items may be retained for as long as the law requires, in particular accounting records relating to your purchases.

The GDPR gives you the right to:

  • access the data we hold about you;
  • rectify inaccurate data;
  • erase your data;
  • restrict processing or object to it;
