This site does not track you

No accounts, no advertising, no profiles. Two audience-measurement cookies, and only if you accept them. This page explains what is true, what changed, and how to check it for yourself.

Last updated: 20 September 2026.

What does not exist here

  • No accounts. Nothing to create, nothing to connect. Enquiries go through a form that sends an email, and nothing is kept beyond that message.
  • No advertising, no profiles. We do no targeting and sell nothing on. Google's advertising signals are denied permanently, even if you accept audience measurement.
  • No cross-site tracking. What we measure stops at this domain.
  • No other requests to third parties. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google. Club badges also pass through our server: your browser never contacts SportMonks, so your IP address is never disclosed to them.

What our host sees, and what we draw from it

Like any server, ours records the requests it receives in its technical logs: IP address, page requested, date, browser type. They are hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt, and Apache deletes them after fourteen days.

These logs serve diagnosis, security, and counting the site's audience. That counting produces nightly totals per day and per page: pages read, visitors, referrers. Only those numbers are kept. No IP address is copied anywhere else, nothing is cross- referenced with another source, nothing is passed on, and nothing feeds advertising or targeting.

That particular count needs no consent: audience measurement that is strictly internal, aggregated, without a tracker in your browser and without following anyone from one site to another falls within the exemption set out by the French data protection authority. It therefore keeps working whether you accept Google Analytics or not — it is our fallback if you decline, and it is enough for us.

The two cookies, and only if you accept them

Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_XXXXXXXX, thirteen months each. They count how many people read a page and whether they come back — never who you are, since there is no account and no customer file for a visit to attach to.

Declining costs you nothing: the site is identical either way. The Cookies link at the bottom of the page reopens the banner at any time, and withdrawing stops measurement immediately.

What becomes of a form

The site's forms — contact, press, sector or product enquiries, job applications — send their contents by email to contact@docteurbet.fr, along with any attachment. Nothing is written to a database, and there is no customer relationship tool behind it. Your information therefore lives in that mailbox and nowhere else.

How to check

Do not take our word for it. Open your browser's developer tools, the Network tab, and reload this page.

If you have not yet answered the banner, or if you declined: every request goes to this domain and no other, and under Application or Storage the cookie list is empty.

If you accepted: you will see the requests to googletagmanager.com and the two _ga cookies. That is exactly what you allowed, and nothing more.

If this changes

This page was rewritten on 9 September 2026, before the counting described above went live — not after. That was the commitment made here.

It stands for what follows: if we ever add a tracker, advertising, or any mechanism that would follow a reader from page to page, this page will be rewritten first, and proper consent will be sought. We will not do it quietly.
